Vendor recruitment manager

We are a start-up conservative online marketplace. We are seeking a highly motivated Vendor Recruiter with previous experience in a large online marketplace to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the e-commerce vendor landscape and a proven ability to source and qualify top vendors. Qualifications: • Must reside in America. • Previous experience in e-commerce marketplace vendor management role requiring outbound or external sales activities and negotiation required. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. • Ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust. • Exceptional customer service experience. • Own laptop/PC/Mac and reliable high speed home internet. Responsibilities: • Sourcing and screening vendors for an e-commerce marketplace, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating onboarding process and verification process. • Managing the overall interview, selection, and closing process. • Ensuring all screening, selection and onboarding is done in accordance with the company’s values. • Effectively communicate and educate vendor candidates on our values and its benefits over the phone and via video calls. • Conduct daily outbound sign-up campaigns. • Collaborate on updating marketing templates. • Maintain vendor databases. • Demonstrated consistent and successful sales campaigns over a sustained period. • Conduct program training and onboarding for contractor vendors as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
