Hello, Hope you are doing fine and having a great day. I need to do able to scans students card barcode (barcode generated in system, have to be created), so that they can Check in and Check out, that will need to sync with [login to view URL] Attendance Module, and post that data for each student in the System's database. Here are some of the SchoolTool technical features: Technical Features 100% free and open source software stack Python programming language Zope 3 component architecture Zope Object Database (ZODB) ReportLab PDF generation Celery task queue for background completion of long-running tasks. Hello. I am interested in doing this project for you, but I would like to ask what hardware and software [if any] you are using to scan the barcodes? Also, do you need software that will recognise the barcode, or just software that will communicate a recognized barcode to the SchoolTool Module? I am currently studying an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and I have lot of experience in Python. I have not worked with Schooltool, but I have experience in other API's, such as the Google Developer framework, Bitcoin, and others, all of which I have learnt quickly, on the job. I have taken a look through SchoolTool, and it should not present any difficulties. I do just need to know more about what you have and what you need on the barcode scanning side of the project. If you can give me me more information, I would really like to do this project for you. I am new to the Freelancer website, and trying to make a good name for myself.
