This is a small task where need to make some changes with the way directories are stored in Django Rest Framework API .
The front-end is done using pyQt5 where there are functions like upload, download and delete and at the REST API ( Django Rest Framework) all the folders and files are stored.
The application can work for multiple level directory upload.
Currently at the REST API , it supports single level folder and file storing only. The issue arises when multiple level directory is uploaded into the REST API and it supposed to be stored in the same structure as how it was uploaded but it failed to work like that where it only stores as a single folder.
So, need help to make some changes with the folder path .
Please refer to the attached pic for better understanding on how the multiple level directory currently getting stored as and that's the exact issue which need to be solved.
What expected is , the subfolders should be correctly appended into its parent folder.
Hello,
The project is so that the server-side should make a mirror of the client side directory structure where the client is uploading. It necessitate coding file and directory management on server-side.
I will be glad to help.
