Custody Tab Development for Odoo HelpDesk Interface

We seek an experienced Odoo freelancer to implement a comprehensive Asset Custody and Control solution, optimizing our organization's asset tracking and management. The project entails seamless integration with our inventory module to provide users with a clear view of asset information directly within the Odoo Helpdesk Ticket Interface, facilitating quick and efficient monitoring. Additionally, there is a crucial need to create a tabbed interface (tab view) within each customer's ticket. This tabbed interface will display information about various assets associated with that specific customer. This feature will prove invaluable in situations where the support team requires swift access to asset details related to a particular customer's issue or request. Objectives: Develop a dedicated tab view labeled "Asset Custody" within the Odoo Help Desk ticket interface for every customer and populate the tab view with the relevant asset information associated with each customer/User. Ensure the displayed asset information in the tab view is connected to the corresponding data in the Odoo Inventory Module. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the tabbed interface to display asset details within each customer's ticket. This centralized repository eliminates the need to navigate through various sections, simplifying the process to enable administrators/users to easily view and access their respective asset lists, streamlining the process. Deliverables: - Creation of a new tab labeled "Custody" within the Odoo Helpdesk Ticketing system interface. Enable Users/Admins to initiate, track, and complete asset-related processes directly from the Helpdesk Ticketing system. - Develop a tracking mechanism that maintains real-time updates on asset movements, changes, and statuses. Ensure that the tracking system is accurate and responsive to changes seen in asset data of both the Inventory and Helpdesk Ticket interface. - Well-documented scripts, automation workflows, and integration guide for seamless deployment. Thorough testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the asset management feature. Required Skills - Proven expertise in Odoo development, specifically in implementing custom modules and enhancing existing interfaces. - Proficiency in Scripting & Automate development - Ability to create a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that aligns with Odoo's design standards. - Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering efficient, error-free solutions.
