Looking for an individual/company for this project and future DBA/PHP/Data Manipulation work. 1- Automate the download of the files to our webserver from a FTP. (cron job from webserver to pull from a FTP) 2- Import those xml files into our mySQL database on the server we just transferred the files to. 3- Create a daily formatted XML export file based on that information. This is a fairly large amount of data. (Main xml file is 80 meg), secondary file is tiny(1meg) and there is just over 150,000 tiny (1-3kb) supplemental xml files that are referenced in the main xml file. I am open to faster approaches to getting me the file requested if there is a easier way. The key to this project is that it should be all automated. Attached are documentation on XML structure of the files([login to view URL]) and a sample of the master itemsindex([login to view URL]), the entire [login to view URL], 2 example parts xml files([login to view URL],[login to view URL]) (used in the [login to view URL] file) and the Output file how I want to final export to look. This is part one of the project as more tweaks will be done in mySQL for "phase 2" of this project.

I have few query/suggestion especially for the bigger file python will be a better fit as the processing will be fast. Because for smaller files php can perform better as their native mysql connections handling is good. But in case of big data I always prefer to use python as it is very fast.
