I have done this work recently did this work on emergency bases because a server get infected with virus and there was a need need to transfer/relocate all the word-press websites from one server to another. I have successfully did this work and restored all 4 of wordpress site from one server to another and also re-locate one wordpress site from local backup copy to server. Hope to work for you
