I’m seeking an experienced website designer who can redesign my existing website with a clean, minimalist aesthetic - to help things look less jumbled. Also for 'articles' and the blog to be amalgamated, integrating e-commerce functionality would be good, but we just want to showcase maybe 1 or 2 items on the landing page, rather than have a lot to sell. We only sell cards (MTG) sporadically, so e-commerce is not a big focus here. The refreshed website should have improved navigation and user experience, with a focus on signposting people to the forums in the hope they post and become part of the community > snowball effect. Anyone who wants to help, who loves Magic as much as me? I would happily send you a big thank you care package! All us Homarids would :) Thank you. Key Tasks: - Redesign the website layout to embed the website's forum. Minimalistic, uniform and unjumbled 'articles' page and blog, and the others too if possible. - Embed a forum on the landing page to facilitate user interaction - Embed an interactive auction feature linked to "www.trademe.co.nz." If interactivity isn't possible, create a hyperlink Ideal Skills: - Excellent navigational design to improve user experience - Understanding of our need to captivate new users in order to retain their readership/gain interaction - Proficient in minimalist design principles - Experience in e-commerce integration, auction house apps or integration of auction house widgets would be great - Rebuilding the website to include multiple interactive elements, with a minimalist approach to design (aesthetics don't matter too much. Functionality is king)
