i am a young entrepreneur of age 19 and i base in the city of amsterdam,the netherlands. I have a new product idea and i am working on a business plan for this new product idea. This product comes in to make earphone users feel more comfortable using their product. it works with the principle of a measuring tape where it retracts with the press of a button. many a times, people have to stack all cables of their earphones in to the pockets which is sometimes annoying. Earphones also get tangled and difficult to release when ready for use. Earphone users are sometimes faced with the problem of their earphones getting stuck behind obstacles which causes them to break and sometimes strangle their necks. This is new idea comes with the intension to curb all these instances. The user will have to open it and insert his or her earphone and then adjust the length to his/her prefered length and then put the casing with the earpiece in the pocket. the product will also have a knob for retraction incase the user wants to reduce the length of the cable. It should be a small sqaure like case . i really need an improved design to help me propel forward. Thank You

hi I understand your project. I'm mechanical engineer and I think I can help you. I'm a little bit older so I have some experiences behind me. My job is designer in blind and awning company in France. I do an extra job as freelancer. Your project is not complicated at all but needs some preparation. The idea is very good. In my opinion, to be successful, you should aim for a solid mechanism and a good sound earphone.

Hi I just read about your project and I think I am capable of making it. I have a four year experience in field of designing new products and reverse engineering. Currently I am working in sheet metal designing and I use Solidworks software. I can give you your product in the format of solid model surface model or sheet metal format as per your requirement. I have done many projects on molding and casting . For your project I will be using SolidWorks for the 3D modeling. I will be designing the whole assembly and parts needed for the product to work and will also provide photo realistic renderings for the product.
