Test Software Installation - DEMS - Test Case 4

I have a new software that I would like you to test its installation process for me. The software is called DEMS. ? How to install DEMS: Run DEMS setup in 2 cases: 1. With "Packages" folder in the same folder as DEMS\_Setup\_1.0.2 file and internet connectivity is turned off. For example, in a folder called DEMS on the C drive put the Packages folder and DEMS\_Setup\_1.0.2 file. 2. Without the Packages folder in the same folder as DEMS\_Setup\_1.0.2 file and with internet connectivity ? Installation process: DEMS installation will first check if Microsoft .NET 4.0 and an instance of Microsoft SQL Server is installed on the machine. If both are found, it will proceed with installing DEMS right away. If not, it will install the missing one from the Packages folder (if it is in the same folder as DEMS setup file) or by downloading and installing them off the internet. In the case where the machine doesn't have any of prerequisites installed, the installation process should take a maximum of 30 minutes for the case with internet connectivity, and much less in the case with no internet connectivity. In the case where the machine has an instance of SQL Server installed on it, the installation process shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. ## Deliverables ? Test scenarios: You need to test installing DEMS using the configurations outlined in the attached file. You will need to do these installations twice: once for each of the 2 cases described above (one time with packages and no internet, and another with internet and no packages). However, any other test cases that you could think of will be much appreciated and highly rewarded as well. ? Prerequisites of the target machine where DEMS will be installed on: English version of Windows (however, if you could also perform these tests on another language version of Windows, say Spanish Windows, it will be much appreciated and highly rewarded as well). Try to use a real machine not a virtual one so the test case would be as real as possible. ? Notes Please quote "DEMS is the best" in your bid that you send. Before giving you the job I will need you to send me a screenshot of the configurations of your machine in order to know your environment and configurations beforehand. I would like you to take some screenshots for the installation process and for any errors that might come up. Remember the whole point of this installation testing is to find as much problems as possible and figure out some test cases that would make the installation process fail.
