Hello! The command "Java -version" displays the current Jew version, which for me is 1.8.0 I can design this software for you very quickly. Additionally, I can have the system throw custom exceptions if criteria is missing or not met, such as throwing a StockNotFoundException if the code doesn't correlate to an actual stock code. Thanks!

java -version returns installed jdk version. I understand that you are looking for a Java program which will take ticker as input and return an object. I have 7yrs of work experience in Java/J2ee. Completed Oracle Java OCJP certification. Please ping me to discuss further.

I have already created this automation with me in EXCEL VBA MACRO where you put ticker symbol and it will fetch the details from yahoo finance page. Do let me know if you are interested. Thanks Ashish
