Hi, Every machine in the world has a nameplate containing technical info including the electricity consumption.. for example: refrigerator, laptop, router ...etc .. please check the attached images.. I have an electricity calculator written in php that calculates electricity consumption based on info taken from the nameplate of the machine.. where the user fills a form manually.. I need a php script that will use an ocr library (like tessaract) to convert data in the image of the nameplate that user uploads to text and get the electricity consumption info.. Electricity info has one of these values: Amperes, W, kW, Ton, BTU, and HP.. the script will get the value of the unit available in the nameplate and will fill the data in the calculator's form based on data on the nameplate .. for example, the name plate shows: 7 KW.. the script will read this and fill the form: Unit: KW, power: 7.. attached an image of the form.. now ONLY if the unit is amperes the script will get these additional data from the nameplate and fill them in the calculator's form: Voltage, Phase.. also please note that the data might be horizontal or vertical as shows in the attached images.. budget is $75 max please don't bid more.. Hi. Sounds doable and like a very interesting thing to me. Depends on the quality of taken images. As soon they're readable - all other is parsing + comparing the available / taken data by filter-conditions (and pre-filling the formular) and should not be a "problem".
