Integrated Translation Workflow and Project Management System

Project 1 We want to introduce a new web based Translation Project Management System at the Reflex Translation Services which can perform the following functions: A) Translation Workflow: Project files can be assigned to Translators, Editor and Proofreaders. Project participants received automatic email about their assignments. The list of files can be imported from Trados 3.x, 5.x and 6x. B)Internet Collaboration: Clients and freelancers can up- and download files with unlimited size of the internet, saving PM time to send, receive, pack and unpack files. Freelancers and staff members can chat, share files and discuss over the Internet. C) Cost Accounting ("Internal" Bookkeeping of all incurring costs) : Staff hours, freelance invoices, travel expenses and every other costs are logged for each project, allowing for tight financial control D) Automatic Invoicing: Customer and Provider invoices are generated automatically from project information, taking into account prices depending on the "Trados Matrix", source and target language, subject area and quality level for each customer or provider. F) Tight Access Permissions: Control allows for freedom. You can allow providers and customers to access your system. Provider and customers "spheres" are completely separated from each other with staff members facilitating communication. G) Scalability: Suitable to handle large translation, internationalization (I18N) and localization (L10N) projects of any size and with up to several hundreds of users. The functions of Project/Translation suits in 70-80 % to our needs, just we need some modifications in the existing structure PLUS some new extensions to the financial modul. Project 2 After further transformations and developments, performed in co-operation with provider of Project 1), using a marketing staff, we want to sell this software for other customers, mainly in Europe.
