Hello, Question: are you planning to make this plugin flexible to crawl any site? The thing is that crawling bases on html structure to find proper tags. And it depends on the unique design of each site. So do you want to create some area, where admin will add new site, link to product listings and fill in html snippet for each entity: product name, price, SKU, image etc?

Hey, I am a UK based web developer with over 10 years experience and would have no trouble building your web scraper for you. As you can see in my profile, I have experience building web scrapers before and would love the chance to make this for you. Regarding how I would acheive this. I could do this in a number of ways such as making a PHP script you can execute from the backend and it will run gathering the data from the scraped site. I could also do a similar thing but making a wordpress plugin that will use javascript to give feedback about the scraping results that you can start/stop. Alternativly I could build a standalone desktop app that you can run to scrape the data which, if you have future projects similar to this but that may not use wordpress etc. then this would be more cost efficiant since it can be altered to work on any site relativl easily. In all cases I would also add an API to the site for the scraper to send the scraped data to so it can inject it into the database of the woo commerce site. Thanks, Chris
