Game server booking system

I am looking for a short time booking/control system for game servers. Let me walk you through what should happen: User A visits [login to view URL], in his possession he has a unique code. This code/password, one of many that is stored in [login to view URL]'s database, is tied to a timeframe and a specific server (let's say Server 1). He enters the code and is connected to a slave application for Server 1. From here he is able to restart the server and modify specific rows in selected text files. Once user A falls outside of the given timeframe (time runs out) he is disconnected from slave application and the code is removed from [login to view URL]'s database. User B wants to help out [login to view URL] by adding his game server to the renting pool. He downloads the slave app and runs it on his server, allowing access from [login to view URL] to people like user A. ## Deliverables **Time codes/passwords** You only have to write a simple script for adding new ones (for testing) to the database. I will then myself add a more user-friendly layout with a time schedule. **Solving it** I believe this project can be solved as following, consisting of two parts: First part: ? A minor PHP script/web page that will read a mySQL database and allow access to selected slave applications (depending which server is tied to which password/code) that are controlling the game servers. Second part: ? A Windows based slave application with a build in web server that checks that correct user is connecting and will display a control page (start/restart game server and edit txt file). The reason it need to have a built in web server is that the person running this app will not need to setup his own in order for people to be able to connect to it via www. ? It should be easy to customize the displayed control page. **Game servers** We are talking about simple HLDS servers. What the slave app needs to be able to do is to start/restart a .exe or a .bat file and modify some rows in a text file (change rcon password for every new user). You can read more about HL game servers here if you want: <[login to view URL]> **Admin** Obviously there has to be a way for an admin to get an overview of all currently running slave apps and be able to start/stop/edit these from site.com. **Other notes** ? Slave apps must be windows based. ? Web scripts must to be done in PHP. ? Safety: of course it has to be as safe as possible for people to use these apps (i.e. connection allowed only via [login to view URL]). The way of solving this project is just an example.
