This is a Visual Basic 6 project. Data will remain in the attached MDB.
Part one of this project is to take the appropriate code from the existing MDB program and migrate it to the new VB program. The program needs to be able to write HTML code that matches what is written with the existing mdb program. The code incorporates the use of CSS files and static html code. The first part of this project is to create the piece of code that makes the intro portion of a html page. That part includes all the components on the Intro tab and the metadata tab.
A user should be able to push the "Generate page button" and create a HTML page with only the intro section being generated and a second page which is a mock up of the EMPTY content section of the page that would correspond to the various titles under the "Quick Page Outline & Guide" The content portion of the page should just be a table of rows and cells that resemble the portion of the page that needs to be filled out to become the future content section for that page. Each blank cell would just contain the words "No Cell Content" and be centered in the cell area. We need one row for each section defined by the "Quick Page Outline & Guide" and the row that acts as its heading. The pages generated and displayed in each of these sections would only be that portion of the complete html page.. The intro section of a page would just show in the html window of the program when working on that section. If a user was creating the content section he would only see the content section of the page in the html window of the program. The parts must be made so that they are module enough so that a call can be made to make that section all by itself or later called when the entire page is being created and then it needs to work in conjuction with the other functions making the content section, the footer section of the page and the frame for that page.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
When working on this project, you need to create an INI file that provides you with the path to the actual MDB database where the info resides.
Please also use ADO access and not DAO.
The attached file contains all the material needed to make the program. Some of the elements that are included will be later changed to vsflex grid 7.0. If you already have that you are welcomed to use it instead of what we put there.
Try to make the code very easy to read.
