I'm running chamilo LMS 1.9.4 ([login to view URL]) on a linux server. Documentation ([login to view URL]) claims OpenID connector is available on previous release. I cannot find any installation instructions. Your mission is to install SSO Open Id module on my platform. You will have root access so you must prove you are a trusted developer/administrator. Excellent English communication essential.

I'm the dev manager for Chamilo LMS and I happen to have developed the OpenID code for Dokeos in the past (which is the code that is still used today). This would be a great opportunity for me to update the OpenID code to make sure it works better and more easily in 1.9.6 and future versions. I happen to have to update the Chamilo manual for admins for 1.9 this week-end, so I'll take the opportunity to add a section for OpenID in there too. Just to be sure: the OpenID code acts as a "client" entity in Chamilo, it cannot act as a server for authentication (i.e. it requires a separate OpenID server). I have no previous successful bid here but I have a solid reputation to protect, so I wouldn't be too worried about me not completing the project :-) I'm also a Certified Linux Operator (Latinux certification, just a tad more complex than LPI101). Even if you do select someone else, please make sure you/they drop me an e-mail to let me know about the changes so I can include them in Chamilo! (no charge for that, rather you'll be put in the Chamilo credits)
