Here's the rundown on what we're looking for: Problem: The current site is static and out-of-date (stylistically and content-wise). We need more visual design elements (more on this below) and we want to be able to easily update content on our own, anytime. What we have already taken care of: A clear theme, company name, and business logo (logo is included in the redesign of our site, at bottom) 95% of the written content Pretty clear idea of the general layout, number of pages, and placement of tabs We have located several examples of the kind of website we want to achieve What we're going for: We would like our site redone in the format of the content management program, Joomla. We like Joomla's simplicity and maneuverability...easy to manage! If necessary, we will pay for the purchase of a Joomla template,[login to view URL];task=view&id=228&Itemid=1 which we'd have our designer rework to some of our specifications. We may also be open to working with a different program, similar to Joomla. Style: wide, simple, easy to navigate, with tabs at the top. If possible, we would like to have cartoons instead of generic photographs. Oh, and a designer did start reworking our site in the past, but she had to go back to school and couldn't finish the project. You can see what she started for us, and it's a start in the right direction, but doesn't have the width or the visual design elements we're looking for.
