we will look at the synthesis of artificial vowel sounds using the linear source model described in class that contains three basic modules: (a) glottal pulse generation, (b) vocal track modeling, and (c) lip loss or radiation. For the purposes of simulation we will assume a pitch frequency of Pf = 120 Hz for a sampling frequency of fs = 10 kHz. We will specifically look at the tables for the two Russian vowels that were given in the class.
