Marketing Genius, Email Marketing Manager

Details We are looking for an experienced Senior Email Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for our email platform. You will be the subject matter expert on email and define the role it can play within our digital consumer experience. You will also manage the day-to-day implementation to support our business objectives. The Senior Email Marketing Manager is a true strategic thinker who will define, build and manage email programs that speaks to our various targets, and cultivate relationships with the consumer database and generate revenue. Responsibilities: Formulate and execute strategy, including platform vision, goals, and success metrics to support business objectives and drive engagement with consumers via email platform. Partner with Database Marketing, Product Marketing and Design Team to define audiences and communication plans around key market segments. Deliver year-round online direct response and engagement (CRM) strategies to grow email revenue and retention. Develop KPI's for measuring ongoing success and constantly evolve email program based on results. Oversee the partnership with the e-marketing vendor, identifying innovative and new opportunities to ensure flawless execution of all sends. Manage the process for the briefing, development, review and launch of all email requests. Formulate a workflow that will drive efficiency in email generation. Identify and recommend email industry best practices and trends. Build, test and deploy email campaigns, verifying copy, layout links, and dynamic contents as well as assessing and addressing any spam risks. Identify and integrate new email capabilities to help drive personalization, desktop vs. mobile adaptations, and content optimizations. Conduct quality assurance reviews and deliver testing to ensure the accuracy of email deployments, as well as monitor the campaign post-deployment to validate completion. Troubleshoot technical issues and consult with IT or vendor technical support to implement solutions. Planning, overseeing and executing promotional, solutions, newsletter, and email campaigns on a regular basis. Responsible for all email analytics ranging from email performance year-over-year comparison, and conversion analysis across all campaigns. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related field. Solid experience and knowledge of email platforms; ExactTarget, Responsys, Marketo, etc. is a plus. At least 2 years experience as a respected leader in email marketing, digital marketing and/or multichannel content creation. Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics. Experience with segmentation of data. Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.). Project management skills to manage calendars, creative and data needs as well as tight deadlines. Strong people skills. Expertise in web analytic tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics).
