I would like to hire a Market Researcher

Hi, I'd like to build an app and/or website that makes it easy to find and sign up for networking events and conferences which would be of interest for business women / female founders / women in finance. I thought of this because I just moved to New York and tried to find just this to build a network of like-minded, and interesting ladies and mentors, but didn't see anything that was easy and tailored for professional women. My question is: Is there's a market for this, or if it was just me looking for something that's not out there because nobody really wants it. I'd like to start with New York and possibly Silicon Valley/San Francisco, depending on the cost of the research, and ask a large group of professional women with higher education ages 25-40, living in the city, questions along these lines: Do you go to networking events, conferences? How often? Are they sponsored by your company or do you attend on your own? What's the most you have been willing to pay to go to an event? Would you like to attend more conferences?
