Hi, We currently run a website - [login to view URL] - this runs an older version of Joomla and Virtumart which needs to be upgraded. We are looking for someone who can :- PLEASE LOOK / TEST THE WEBSITE BEFORE YOU BID TO ENSURE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. 1. Keep the same functionality as existing site but on a system that we can keep up to date ourselves without having to use coding etc. 2. The existing site has a shipping system which recogises the post code and charges postage according to this. 3. It doesn't have to be Joomla / Virtumart, but something easy maintainable is fine. 4. We will keep all the same pages and content on the new site, but we would like the design itself refreshed. 5. You must setup everything as it is now, so payments will be Paypal etc. 6. CRITICAL : If you look at the existing site now, you will see the site has a calculator where you can input dimensions and then it works out a price for the bricks when you press calculate. You then add to cart. 7. The option for shaped bricks now, must have the ability to have both a % increase on the normal price and a £ increase (as well as a minimum increase). For example if a normal brick is £5.42, for a shaped brick we may say 20% extra, but a minimum of £5.50 extra. 7. Customer should not need to register to place and order. 8. WE MUST BE ABLE TO ALTER THE SHIPPING COST, POST CODES AND ALSO THE FORMULA USED TO CALCULATE THE PRODUCT COST EASILY WITHOUT ANY CODING. THAT WAY IF WE HAVE A PRICE INCREASE IN THE FUTURE, WE CAN CHANGE IT EASILY. 9. We will consider any system, not only Joomla / Virtumart. 10. It must be easy to keep the system up to date.

For calculation part I may need to check inside so I can advise either using of Joomla and virtuemart or we should move to another like wordpress, thus need to check inside your admin in order to confirm calculation elements. Remain is fine to update either joomla latest version or move to another. I have checked the detail of your requirement and found I can do all your needs correctly. Hello! You have a simple website but the features are still working well, so there is no need to switch to another system (WordPress, Shopify, or something else) - Unless you have a lot of budget and want a whole new experience. What you need to do are redesign the website interface, making it compatible with devices such as tablets, and mobile phones. And, I also checked the Joomla version you are using Joomla 3, you just need to upgrade to the new version Joomla 4! I can help you do it all for £220 and can be done within 5-7 business days.
