Current Setup: Currently saving a stream from youtube-dl to a temporary file, once the file has been received I am doing an API lookup to get access to meta information for this file I then save the ID-3 tags to the temporary file and then pass the file to FFMPEG to convert. After the conversion is complete I am passing the converted file to the client response so the user can download the file. Desired Setup: 1. Stream file from youtube-dl to ffmpeg then piping the ffmpeg response to the client for downloading during conversion + saving ID-3 tags to file. (This is best possible scenario) Otherwise option two 2. Save Youtube-dl stream as temporary file them pass temporary file to ffmpeg for conversion and pipe ffmpeg to client + save ID-3 tags response for downloading during conversion. P.S I have been able to successfully achieve option 2, however I was not able to save ID-3 tags to temporary file as the file from youtube-dl was not MP3 it was a mp4a or webm. I have only been able to save ID-3 tags to a file after converting it with FFMPEG which stopped me from streaming the conversion to the user because I had to wait for a completed conversion before saving the tags.
