My name is Paitaya Puenpatom, most of my friends call me Sam. I am a Thai nationality, who is fluent in spoken and written English. I enjoy reading novels and analysis pieces on world affairs and foreign relations. I believe reading will enrich anyone’s life. I went to America to study English when I was around 16 years old. Texas and Colorado were some of the places I resided during my 8 years in America. My other favorite past time activities are writing and hiking. I have worked extensively with three different newspaper publishers as a reporter and a senior English correspondent; at Hua Hin Mirror, I was appointed an Editor before it shut down due to the economy crisis. I am well versed in article writing, copy writing, translations and proofreading. Also, at one time I was a translator at a news monitoring agency, contracted by various companies and organizations belonging to all 40 of Thai industries.
When I was at the Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, I was selected the president of the Thai Student Association there. My time in America has taught me to be self-sufficient and self-reliance. I am a highly reliable person, who seeks to better himself at all time. I would like to be compensated around 32,000 baht/month for my services. I have completed the JLPT level 3, however, my Japanese is still at the beginning level. I have a hospitality degree form the Dusit Thani College, and also I have worked at the Sofitel-Centara, Ladprao, as a general chef for around a year between 2000-2001. I am not a native speaker, but I have scored 950 on my TOEIC. I have been in news reporting business for 9 years; I understand the meaning of responsibilities.
