Data Entry, Data Cleaning, Error Checking

I have a spreadsheet that compiles many medical labs for a patient. Most of the data is already entered (I would estimate that 95% is already there). I need three things: 1) I have a folder with pdfs called lab snipets. Each file needs to be renamed according to the collection date. There are 182 of these files. 2) I need to make sure that all of the data from the lab reports is actually in the spreadsheet. I have 57 labs (and the 182 snipets that are snapshots from the 57 labs). I need to check that it's all in the compiled spreadsheet. I'm guessing there might be 5 or so reports missing from the compiled sheet. 3) I need to sort the compile sheet and make sure that the low/high ranges--for each separate data item--are normalized. If not, then it needs to be normalized. For example, one test may have mcg/mg and another mg/dL. I'd convert to the one that is most frequently used. 4) Some test don't give an established range, these would have to be googled. There shouldn't be too many of these.
