Hi, Testing Thyristor is well possible. But would you like to test at high current ? My assupmtion here, my device can test the thyristor is alive or not, what the gate status and conduction status and so on. My Bid amount is more than the your Budget. Please note you are asking for a hand held unit so its cost more with Enclouser, Battery, SCR firing Ckt, PCB and a LCD display. I have a detailed proposal which I can share if you are ok with Budget.
