Hi. Interesting project, I congratulate you for your initiative. A year ago I made a project very similar to this one (you can check it in my profile) to regulate the temperature of the interior of an attic. All this by opening windows and turning fans on and off. All this project was done using AutomationDirect brand PLC with some parts such as digital input modules, relay output modules and thermocouple modules. The sensors measure the temperatures inside the attic and on the outside and as the case the actuators are turned on to close or open the windows and turn the fans on and off. I would like to know what type of PLC brand you want to use, what kind of sensors you have in mind. In case you have not chosen any I can make some suggestions. Hi, Are you open to a Raspberry PI or Arduino implementation? The boards can be programmed to read and take action based on the readings from the sensors. We'll have to review the connections to the sensors, first of course, and then I suppose to attach a relay capable of powering up the fans. Would you like to explore this option further?
