aws api gateway developement

we current access a partner api endpoint. we are trying to move more functionality into our aws account to leverages some resources but api gateway is too new for us. what we want we think is pretty simple. 1. create a pretty basic working example of the api's we are using 2. this can be done using json that can be imported or if need be we can add an aws user 3. account for security, unauthorized access (best ways to lock it down so only we can call it, etc.) an example of an api we are trying to push to aws is this: [login to view URL] our goal would be to have the endpoint created in aws but the querystring values are only populated when we call our aws api. i.e. so we can set the page number and/or results/format, etc. each api has only 2-3 variables are we have several apis that need created. if you have real experience deploying aws api's then this should be easy. just a note, if the aws endpoint created is [login to view URL] then we are seeking to pass pagenumber/format in our api call to aws (which in turn will be used to substitute querystring/http url values so that it's totally dynamic. everything currently works in our local environment, aws is empty :) let's do it.
