MySQL query Optimization!

Hello there, actually about 2 millions record is not quite big. First we need to identify the queries you're using, we should might convert the IN/NOT IN to EXISTS/ NOT EXISTS because of better performance. Next we will use execution plan to see the proper indexes has been created or not. For example: select longtitude, latitude from table where filter= postcode. In this case we should create the cover index including 3 columns (postcode, longtitude, latitude). Other queries should avoid of using select * (asterisk) it will cause slow performance too.
