Looking at hiring an illustrator for 7-14 illustrations for an adventure novel set in the 1960's. Main characters are a 60 year old professor who always dresses as if he is going to a lecture on campus. His 10 year old precocious grandson. Several Taino Indian chiefs and behique (tribal counselors) in their early thirties to forty-five years old. The professor's 53 year old wife who has been kidnapped into another dimension. Carlos, the shop assistant helping the professor search for his wife. Several animals who communicate with the professor, after he saves them. A grey cat; a black horse; an African grey parrot; a baby elephant, and a giant coconut crab. A 36 foot octopus that attacks two Navy divers in 1934. Fun story that takes us back to a different time of dress and personalities.-
