This project will deliver MATLAB and Unity3D code and executables allowing use of Unity3D to create MATLAB surface plot renderings in an immersive experience. This is the first project in what I anticipate can be a long series of work together. Ideally, I'd like to find a developer I can work with over the long-term supporting a product I intend to market globally. For this first job, you'll create a 3d surface plotting command, callable from MATLAB, similar in functionality to MATLAB's surf() command. However, your new command will render visual output via Unity3D, creating an immersive experience where one can use the mouse to look around and keys to move forward, back, left, right, up and down, easily exploring the plot from various angles. This way, the user can explore the plot more powerfully than MATLAB's output allows Your code should be architected such that a data pipeline is established from MATLAB to your Unity3D code. Your responsibilities/deliverables must include: 1) replacement Python code for MATLAB's surf() command, surfUnity() 2) Unity3d code which receives output from 1), raising the surface plot for exploration as discussed above, in response to the new surfUnity() call from MATLAB 3) source code and executables for all above deliverables 4) live demonstration and training, so I can use your deliverables for exploring my own plots in my MATLAB code. Skype, GoToMeeting, or equivalent is fine. Should happen sometime between 8am - 9pm EST, probably takes an hour or two. Assuming this "test project" goes well, I'd like to work with you for quite some time on similar, more advanced projects to follow. By accepting the work, you agree not to redistribute, resell, or reuse the source code or binaries from this project or future work together. With these requirements in mind, please let me know what you feel is an appropriate budget for this first project together. Thanks, Bob
