I am looking to pay for initial consultation! I am looking for advice from software architects, developers and programmers with knowledge of windows desktop applications and web software. I wish to make a simple windows desktop application that can be controlled via an online interface. The application would be installed on windows machine (win7 or 10) usually a standard user. The online interface would be administered by an admin , the admin will be monitoring a couple of standard users logins on their pcs. He will be able to monitor various uses of the pc and monitor the websites of the desktop that the software is installed on. Its a little like a spyware app but its for business use. I'm looking for consulting and advice on how to built the app. More information will be supplied on the project when awarded. I will award this project to numerous freelancers for different advice. This project is for the initial consultation part not to build the app, that would obviously cost more. Many Thanks.

Hi there, I'm from Ireland and the UK, and have been working with Microsoft Windows for 25 years now. I've worked for well-known names in the UK,Europe, America and Japan, on very large-scale multi-user enterprise Windows desktop/server client-server environments, using Visual C++(which is the language used to develop most of WIndows and it's underlying components). I can easily assist you to architect and design this system; but would like to have a skype or phone call perhaps, first? Voice would be easier, as you are in Ireland too. :) I can also offer formal technical design and architecture diagrams for the final system, that developers can use; as a seperate project done later on? I offer UML, flow charts, MS Word and other diagramming and modelling services, as part of technical architecture and design. Cheers Dinesh

Hi, during my day job I'm a software architect for a company that produces software that sits behind insurance price comparison services, not directly relevant to this case but should give you an idea of my capabilities! I like the sound of this challenge, I've already got a few ideas about how it should be approached but obviously would be great to hear the full requirement. I'm going to assume that as it's a corporate environment that there are no requirements to have the software hidden, although it would be interesting if there is a Windows domain that could be used to force its adoption by the affected machines. Essentially the software would use suitable libraries to capture whatever metrics are required, to be passed to a web-based processing system. Thought should be given towards storage needs vs query granularity but it sounds like an interesting challenge. Let me know any questions and I'd be happy to answer. All the best!
