You will have to create a server SMPP 3.4 for Kannel. (Equivalent of smppbox which is not open-source)
Config file :
bind_host = *
bind_port = 13017
log_file = /var/log/[login to view URL]
login_scheme = "SELECT id, throughput, smsc_id FROM smppuser WHERE login='%login%' AND password=md5('%password%') AND enabled=1"
log_scheme = "INSERT INTO smpplog (client_id, msg_id, date, source, destination, short_message) VALUES (%client_id%, %msg_id%, %date%, %source%, %destination%, %short_message%)"
dlr_scheme = "SELECT client_id FROM smpplog WHERE msg_id='%msg_id%'"
- The server will connect a mySQL connection to his starting up. (Ex: JDBC for Java)
- The login / password, and parameters will be has to fetch in mySQL database. (login_scheme)
- Limit the traffic of the connection according to the throughput value returned by mysql (throughput)
- To limit has 1 connection by client_id
- Send the SMS on the smsc-id Kannel returned by mysql
- The received SMS must be sent back to the gateway SMPP without exception! (source, destination, short_message, src_ton, src_npi, dst_ton, dst_npi, esm_class, priority, data_coding, ...)
- The SMS sent will be logged into a mySQL table (log_scheme)
- The DLR (acknowledgement) received will be only sent to the client_id will be sent the msg_id. (dlr_scheme)
