Successful bidder will be chosen by 23 August at latest Introduction The game that needs to be designed will create jigsaws from existing photos. The photos or pictures will be sourced from user libraries but will also include a library of pre-loaded images which will be supplied. The game is designed for one player with the provision of a timer and countdown clock to enable them to beat their personal records. ### Technical requirements The game must be compatible with Android 2.3.x Gingerbread, API levels 9-10. Backwards and forwards compatibility is preferred, but only 2.3.x compatibility will be tested. It is expected that the software will make use of existing APIs and image databases. Image libraries included within the software can be added to the user photo library. As a result of this it is not expected that a database will be required. The program will run independently of other servers and will not require any interfaces to other servers. However the application must have update functionality to allow updates to the program and also image libraries. The program language is up to the programmer but should be disclosed to 6-Alpha before commencing the project. It is expected that either C or Java will be used. The programmer must also provide an installation module and an update capability.
