Having worked in a university in a teaching position, my exposure to the academic world has been long and intimate. Moreover, I have had a flair for writing and deep love for the written word. Therefore I have been a speech/article writer for many Vice-Chancellors and a source of help to my colleagues in improving the overall quality of their academic articles. Proof of my writing skills can be had from a recent article titled ‘Saved by chance’ (middle) published in The Tribune (India), dated 18 June 2014. Thus I feel that I have the right credentials for this project and would come true to the expectations of my employer. Since I have been trained and groomed so, I have the necessary skills and the wherewithal of how to access extensively and intensively various sources of information to glean vital data for the article. After empowering myself with the necessary knowledge on the article, the next step for me would be to have a clear mental picture of the shape and form of the article. Sitting tight and writing the first draft would come next. I would then revisit the first attempt with a fresh mind chisel and fine tune it further and give it final shape. Of course, it would be necessary to discuss the nitty-gritty of the proposed article with the employer to clearly understand his needs and expectations before actually embarking upon the given assignment. Therefore to establish a vibrant working rapport with my employer would be my most important prerequisite.

I live in Johannesburg I am self-starter, disciplined, versatile and reliable with attention to details. I have been translating, proofreading and editing at higher level for 3 years now. I only joined freelancer two weeks ago. That explains why my reputation here is still low.
