For a Typo3 website, which will have many pages of text, I want tabbed menus as a navigational aid.
The menu items appearing on each tab will be pages in specified sections of the Typo3 page tree. There need to be three tabs, each containing a list of up to eight menu item. Clicking on a menu item will display the relevant page of information. The currently selected menu item in the tab will remain in bold (or otherwise emphasised).
The tabs need to have distinct display states for currently selected, not selected, and mouseover. See this article for examples of how to display tabs: [login to view URL] (PS. I have no connection with the author of that page).
The tabbed menu will remain visible, alongside the page of information displayed, and will be a constant navigational feature to allow users to read each of the pages in turn (if they wish) or easily find a particular page of interest.
