A while ago we created a very small desktop application that receives financial news from our server and stock quote data from yahoo server. Application works fine, but the reponse time of a query for financial news takes too long. a) We are looking for a programmer to improve the query response for news (i agree with any better programmation/language) b) make the application compatible when a proxy server is used.
