Red5 uses lot of ram when compared to NGINX RTMP . Using nginx rtmp i can build your requirement in less then 2 hrs and which can serve more users. I'm working on this setup from past two year and once streaming is started it pushes it to youtube. and when streaming is completed the entire streaming will be recorded. The reason i'm going for very less is i need good reviews for my new freelancer account.
