Have you considered however that all of the motors will run 20% faster in the US? Stuff like the power supplies are no hassle. Your laptop power supply works anywhere so long as there is enough oomf in the power socket. But motors, especially 3-phase motors need to be thought through. The speed of an AC electric motor is dependent on the frequency. A 50Hz motor will run 20% faster in America because the frequency is 60Hz and yes it catches people out all the time.
