We have a Ruby on Rails Application -We plan to host on 1&1 VPS hosting (or other similar VPS hosting). The VPS will have root access. We will need someone to setup the VPS Server with Rail, postgres, reverse proxy etc to get the application to run. This is it for this project so please provide quotes accordingly. *** UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE that if the VPS is configured properly, we will be able to 1- run the application and 2 - send email from the Rails, and 3- run the production DB properly for insertion, deletion and other DB actions, and 4- we can do a data dump where we can move the data back and forth from the Production DB to the development DB and back. The reason I mention this is that we are having issues with those at our current host because they did not setup the Rails properly on the server. So even though the application ran it failed on the other stuff mentioned. *** If we are satisfied we would like to have the developer provide ongoing tweaking and add features to the application over time (it will be a separate future project).
