Update to page view PHP MySQL layout

This is an inventory control system for fire companies. It allows users to create a company and then create “Locations” or “Truck/Apparatus” in order to track their inventory. The site functions well and is only currently in use by one fire company. We will be modifying it since I have been heavily using it in order to make it work smoother. There is LIVE data in here, its imperative we delete none of it. So here is what we need done. Currently if you login and click “Inventory” and then “Inventory Main” you are brought to a screen like this: (Image one) As you can see, its listed by station at the top, then inventory locations under neath. Your company won’t have this info so you would just need to click “Add Station” to get started and create a station then add a location. You don’t have to do this but I think it will greatly help you understand how it works. I can drop down parts of trucks to see compartments, if I click a red arrow the page changes to look like this: (image two) If a user has multiple stations then they have a screen that looks like this: (Image three) So, honestly I don’t like the way this page looks and I think you can do a much better job with a layout. Here is what I am thinking. Right now we have the “Main Station” at the top, users can add more stations. We should make a drop down in the center that lists their stations, or they click it and the bottom option is “Add Station” if they have no station then that is the only option they get. That drop down should be top center. You can leave the search by ID in there, we need that for now… I would like you to change this page to look like this: (image four) Remember each station has its own apparatus or locations. So this page will change when a user uses the drop down to select a new station. The rectangles will represent each location, with the location name under that rectangle. The rectangles I would like to be able to be an image of the apparatus. Without a picture it can just show a red X in the box. When they click on the box it will bring them to a page that lists the compartments or allow them to create a new one. Also at the top of the page it should show the image of the apparatus with the same size rectangle as what’s on here but there they can change the image. Remember to have the image size reduced down to save server storage. For the locations it can still be a list like the way it is now, we only need pictures for the apparatus options.
