Project Introduction: Our website has an INVENTORY section (/[login to view URL]) and ACCESSORIES section (/[login to view URL]). The PHP website has an admin backend that we log into to manage the inventory of cars and accessories. We need to update and expand the website from it's current single location (and two databases) to two locations, with each location having a separate inventory and accessories databases. Project Objectives: 1) Expand the Inventory section from current single location (Minnesota) to two locations (Minnesota and California). Furthermore, since you're going through the work of splitting into two separate locations, create the ability for us to easily add additional locations in the future. This can best be done if you create the ability in the admin backend of the website. Once you're hired for this project, we'll provide you with access to the admin backend via login credentials. 2) The admin backend should also allow us to choose which location we want before we start adding or modifying the inventory. 3) We also want the ability to add additional locations from the admin backend and have the admin backend create the additional inventory and accessories databases. 4) The home page of the website currently goes right to the inventory page. Once you are done with this work, the home page should be a separate welcome page with a welcome message in the text / body of the website and the two location options for the user to click on. If you are a WordPress developer, we are open to the idea of having you recreate this PHP website with exact same UI and content, to make it 1) easier for us to modify content in the future and 2) easier for you to create the multiple inventory locations. This PHP to WordPress site conversion can be done as a separate project after this initial PHP site expansion project is completed. So quote me only on the PHP site expansion project if you can complete in 48 hours from now. The PHP to WordPress conversion project may be selected only if you can complete in 72 hours!
