Development of web based Admin Interface using Laravel - 04/12/2017 00:49 EST

The requirement is to create a web based admin panel which will be used by following two set of users: 1) Admin User 2) Content Manager User 1) Admin User The Admin user will be a power user with following abilities to do. a. Create new Content Manager User b. Following details are need to be capture while creating a Content Manager User : firstName, LastName, Email, login, password, enabled, dateOfCreation, lastLogin, Profile Photo (Optional) expiryDate (By Default now + 1 Month) ) Note: There should be a checkbox indicating wheather an email should also go to the Content Manager user informing him about his a/c creation. c. Admin User will be able to edit an existing Content Manager User 2) Content Manager User a) Should be able to login (using either login or email ). Forgot password functionality would be required. (should receive a new password via email along with a login link). All normal validation rules should apply (including a check for the expiry date on the a/c). c) The user will create a list of events & categories. The events will be placed inside those categories (just like we have files in folders). So the content manager user should be able to d) Create/Edit/Delete Categories (Category will have two fields id (auto_increment), name, enabled(bool) fields) e) Create/Edit/Delete Events. For an event there will be following fields: i. Id ( Mysql autoIncrement) ii. eventID (a varchar <= 20 chars) iii. Title (a varchar <= 255 chars) iv. Publisher Name (a varchar <= 255 chars) v. StartDate (Picker with Time) vi. EndDate (Picker with Time) vii. videoUrl viii. thumbnailImg vs thumbnailUrl ( User will either upload of give the url of an thumbnail image. In case of the url, the image needs to be catpured. ). The user should be able to crop the image (via any Jquery plugin such as [login to view URL] ) to a configured size (e.g. 300x250). ix. Enabled ( boolean true/false) Other Requirements: a. The categories & the events within should be avilable via a JSON Feed ( by passing some identifiers such as manager user id via HTTP POST ) b. There should be flexibility to be given to the manager user so that he can decide which category should come first in the JSON feed. Therefore content should be able to set the order of categories using drag drop. Similarly he should also be able to set the order of events with-in a category. c. Pagination (with a pagesize of 10 items per page for category & events) UI/UX Requirements: We will rely on your expertise to come up with a modern admin dashboard kind of UI. End user will be able to use it on hand held devices too. The technology used should be Laravel, Angular JS, BootStrap, MySQL, NGINX. Browser Support Modern browsers (Chrome/Mozilla Firefox/IE 10+) Should be supported.
