I want a webpage that can play YouTube videos sequentially and non-stop (no clicks required). Here's what I think is needed. I'll let you figure out the details. Preferably this is in HTML.
1. Ability to admin the list of videos. I will personally choose the videos that I want played. I can cut and paste as needed.
2. The videos will play sequentially (or at least appear to be playing sequentially). In other words, it's more like flipping on a TV channel than opening a webpage. That means that the webpage does not restart with the first video in the list when you come to the page but plays the video that is scheduled (programmed) for that time of day.
3. I think the best way to admin this would be for a given date, just start dragging choices (already chosen videos) to the beginning of the day, and then add the next on top of that one etc. Basically just create a sequence of videos. The timeline will determine what video to play when the page is accessed. If its 4PM, whatever video programmed for 4PM starts playing and on continues the sequence of videos from there. Create a provision to repeat the list to fill out the full day. (Email me if we need to clarify this).
4. Playback will start the video that is currently in that timeslot and then just play the rest that are behind it in sequence.
This will probably require an XML file (guessing). If so, make sure I have a way to SIMPLY add videos. I see this as a two step process. The first is to find the videos on YouTube and create a library of videos on the site. The second is to "program" those videos into a schedule.
Don't worry about how the page looks. The focus is on function.
