Hi,
I am working with a PHP Knowledge Base application with categories, sub categories, sub-sub categories etc.
There is this function for the main menu but it only shows top level categories, it does not show any sub categories.
I would like someone to modify the function to show all categories, including subs/sub-subs, in a list based (menu) structure with proper hierarchy.
The function uses this db table:
The main{top level} categories use parent_id of 0. For sub categories, the category_id matches the parent_id
After modified the menu should show like a standard unordered list based menu with the correct links:
Example: [login to view URL]
This might help:
These functions are used to populate the <option>'s in a dropdown select box. The hierarchy is correct but no links and no UL LI tags.
Thank You
James
