Backup Application

I require an automated backup program. The settings will allow the user to set specific times on each day for backup operation to be performed. Other settings will include What, where and method of backup (zip or no compression) and a reminder that "Backup is due" if greater than X hours. When backup is due, user will be prompted with a popup box "BACKUP DUE Please complete tasks, ensure network PC's closed. Click BACKUP box when ready. Since the system is on a LAN, it would be helpful if this message could be displayed on all network connections. However, if this is a complicated or time consuming process it is not essential. BACKUP BOX remains in the top RHS corner of the screen until performed. It can be minimised, but not closed, and pops up again in a user definable time frame. Once backup is clicked, user is asked to confirm that media is in the backup device and again that all network operations are closed. Click PROCEED. Files as specified under settings are then copied to external media. We do not require any complicated compression or restoration features as the backup should be restorable on any PC with unzip facilities. Once all settings have been recorded, the process should prompt to backup with a few confirmation clicks only. ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
