Database Compiler / Fax and Email Blaster

READ THIS FIRST! Even though I have a job budget listed here, I understand based on the type of programming you are offering it may be more expensive than my budget. If it is, just bid the maximum amount you are allowed if your actual bid exceeds that and in the PM just explain what you plan on doing and what your actual bid is to be awarded this job. Of course we are going to look for the best price but will read any comments to judge for quality as well so no, our budget on this job is not firm so don’t let it scare you away if you can’t do it for this amount. Also, I’m a Project Manager located in the USA and do a lot of jobs like this on a regular basis outsourcing jobs. Do a good job for a good price and I’ll keep you in mind for future jobs. I do like how easy to use and clean looking the new GAF GUI looks so a hybrid between the two is fine also. This database will be for consumers and others to seek information on people they can target for advertising purposes, print out labels or .csv reports for fax or email blasting. Alternatively, a farmer or exporter can contact importers to do business with one another as well such as if I as a Import Distributor want to contact a Export Farm for specific items like Corals or any keyword I may enter in my search for a fee. PayPal to be hooked up for this purpose. GUI FRONT END: I want to keep this simple looking much like [login to view URL] . I like how clean look, it’s very easy to use, simple and to the point with little graphics. The nice thing is that this allows slower computers to load fast so just keep in mind the Graphical User Interface should appear something similar to InfoUSA looks. DATABASE: This database should contain the following primary groups allowed to enter their information for free as long as they create a membership first. They may check off as many items here that apply to their business to be queried. An additional search utility should be included for keyword so you could include specific key words found in the information of any listing including keywords from the detail dialog box In the database, this list should be made available for the Administrator to add/edit/remove any category and have the ability to resort customer database information as desired. Information Boxes below • SIC Code o Allow for the SIC code (numeric only) to be entered. A drop down edit list will be created for this and I’ll provide you (the programmer) the list if you don’t know how to look up SIC codes for businesses. Now, this list should be made available publically based on criteria checked off by the visitor requesting the database list. The choice of “any or all” of the visitors query criteria should be made as an option. Included in the data for the visitor to pick would be all the following information about the ad poster ie. Fax, Phone, Email, etc so you could for instance say, “I want to see all Farms>Fish>Marine which have Fax numbers”. This would allow for Fax Blasting! The same would be with email, etc. If Addresses are picked, the option to allow to pick printable Avery style labels in bulk. When results are generated, at the top of the header should be a counter that says something like your results returned X amount of vendors. MEMBERSHIP: A new member should be required to log-in using Captcha to prevent spam. Also, a confirmation email should be sent to their email address requiring them to click the email to verify and activate the account. This feature of activating the account should have a on/off switch in the admin allowing the administrator to choose whether this feature is required or not. If not, directly after creating an account allows you to enter data. There should be four (4) different Membership levels. 1. FREE Trial a. Allows a member to see the results of their search but replaces actual data which would be important like fax, email, website, address to be replaced with “visible to paid members only” and a link to pay in order to get paid membership as seen below. 2. 30 Day Membership* $29.95 a. Unlimited Use for 30 Days. 3. 1 Year Membership* $99.95 a. Unlimited Use to Database and all data updates for a full year unrestricted! IF THIS CAN BE DONE? Check Box for Premium Membership. Will send any number of bulk emails or faxes from their information ie. company name, fax, phone, etc (not ours) for the cost of .09 cents USD plus PayPal Fees per sending (per page sent / per listing). So if I as a customer wanted to fax blast 1,000 listings a bulk message which was 2 pages long, I would have a wysiwyg editor allowing me to create the 2 page message which counts as 2,000 (1,000 listings x 2 pages = 2,000) and would charge the senders paypal account 2,000 x .09 cents = $180 plus paypal fees. If you are programmer who knows how to add this feature, add it into your bid price and PM me about it and that you are including this feature. For emails, you would want to use something like comdev or other which allows a limited number of emails to be sent at a time such as 5 emails at a time so the message isn’t blocked as spam. For faxing, the fax would have to have a pop up window where the sender checks off that they are in accordance with the FCC regulations ([login to view URL] ) and accept all liability for sending unwanted or non-related faxes to businesses or persons not wanting faxes sent. *Unlimited Membership would include the ability to print out any form of data requested into printable means such as if Address is picked, print to Avery style for label printing and mail direct advertising. Listings with email addresses or fax numbers could be printed either in a full .pdf report (no excel printing otherwise they could steal the data), INAPPROPRIATE INFORMATION SECURITY: There should be a filter that reports to the admin all key words which contain common bad language or that would probably be inappropriate advertising. In addition, there should be a “report inappropriate ad” information at the end of each ad. Within the Admin, this should become available for the administrator to view and decide ultimately whether an ad should be removed for bad language or inappropriate images. REPORTS: A paying customer if a Premium Member can use our service to send bulk emails or faxes or if not a premium member but are paying member may print out their own data list so they can use their own service to do the blasting. Email and Fax Numbers should be available in comma delimitated, .csv format, or text formats so they may be used by 3rd party companies. TOOLS: There should be a section that has information such as stats on how many of the following exist… • Members • Online Now • Results from your query • Listings Available in Database All which within the database the starting number can be manipulated to make the site look more populated or busier than it really is. LEGAL: The legal disclaimers seen from the front side should be editable with a wysiwyg editor from the admin side to express that all companies listed to only include information such as fax, email, address and phone if they are in agreement it’s okay to be contacted regarding related business to the pet industry. This will help keep all people using the fax or and email blaster from getting into trouble.
