Scientific drawings

knowledge of chemistry would be wonderful but not required. I need to draw a chemical structure with packing shapes. Very simple drawing that much be in black and white but rather hard to describe. The drawing consists of 16 balls, each with 1 pair of electron spin arrows in them. They are connected with lines (or dashed lines in the case of the ones inside the triangles). The balls are arranged into 4 rows of 4. The entire structure is angled to give a 3D feel. If you were to separate the balls out in the format under: x x o o x x o o o o o o o o o o the x marks would be the balls inside the triangular packing structures shown in the attached file. The triangular prisms do not need to be hatched but the structure must be visible and not confusing so i leave it up to the designer to decide what sort of hatching or lack of hatching is best.
