We have seen your requirement of implement a web-based expense reporting tool.
The project includes-
Design and implement, for both iOS and Android, mobile
applications which allow a user to capture a receipt using their
phone’s camera.
- The user should be authenticated using the company’s
ActiveDirectory infrastructure, and should not maintain a separate
set of credentials (LDAP, RADIUS, etc.).
- Once captured, the receipts should be saved to a central database.
The database will be a Microsoft SQL Server database.
- Before submission, the user should be required to choose a
category for the receipt. The list of categories should be retrieved
from a separate table from the central database.
- Before submission, the user should be required to include the
amount of the receipt.
- Before submission, the user should have the option to include a
note/description for the receipt, which would be included in the
central database.
- The mobile applications should include the ability to capture
receipts offline (without an internet connection), and then post to
the central database once a connection has been restored.
- The receipts and associated information should include the user’s
identity when posted to the central database.
