Hi Greetings! I am a Mechanical with expertise in CFD. I can use both SolidWorks and ANSYS Fluent for CFD. I have done projects that include CFD of vertical axis wind turbine to optimize TSR, CFD of jet engine compressor for recovery of wake region, Design of wing to optimize lift, etc. Given my experience of CFD projects, I believe I am the right person for this project. Apart from my academic qualifications (which you can access through my profile), I am currently working on a propeller optimisation project which involves the design of an optimised propeller using low fidelity numerical tools to high fidelity CFD simulations, through my own company. I have also done other simulations, mostly on air but also in fluidic material flow (granula material), using CFD codes elsA, DLR-TAU, Gerris, Star CD, Ansys FLUENT. My company specialises in Computational aerodynamics and aero-elastic simulations. Considering my extensive experience in CFD and my filed experience in fluid systems related to water, fire protection systems .etc for high rise buildings, I am confident that I can deliver the expected outcome timely and with quality (I worked for almost 4 years in a building services company as a Mechanical Engineer and later as a design engineer at a ship building company. I can provide you my CV to attest to these). I will use Ansys FLUENT for this project and any geometry modelling required will be done in CATIA (I will use your Solidworks files (.step) in CATIA to genearte the fluid domain). I have a good hand when it comes to SOLIDWORKS modeling and analysis in it as I have been the design head of my team of SAE BAJA for 3 competitions and have designed and analysed numerous parts and components including the CFD of whole ATV at various speeds and the behavior of oil in gearbox and it's rise in temperature and so on. Not just that, I even have some hands on experience on ANSYS Fluent (CFD) and have a certificate from ANSYS itself for the same. Whichever software you want to go with, all fine by me. I have mentioned 5 days to complete the job because there are 4 separate designs to perform the analysis on and as you may already know the computing time that goes into meshing alone and the actual computation of the fluid flow.
