We have a website build that we’re dividing in phases. This project will be longer term. We would like someone on our team for 6-12 months. If you’re not available for this amount of time, please let us know.
Currently we are focusing on phase 1:
In this phase our objective is to have a website that will allow users to register
on our website by following a series of steps:
1. Provide their personal information.
2. Create a catalog of products (CRUD)
3. Sign in/Social sign in
1. Create their profile
The entire registration process will consist of a series of steps, the first step is
to provide their account information
1. Email
2. Password, password confirmation
Or they can sign in using their social account information (facebook, gmail).
Once the user has created their account, we will sign them into the website and
take them to the first step of the item creation process.
2. Create a catalog of products.
Adding an item will be a series of steps that will guide the user to add the
products.
1. Describe your item: This will be a form that will describe the product, fields
like a description, year, model, conditions, model, etc.
2. Photos of your item. This will be a form to updload a series of photos about the
product.
3. What do you want to charge for you product. This step will allow the user to
enter the amount that they want to charge for the item that they just entered. This
step will ask for rates (daily, weekly, monthly).
4. Where will you offer your product. In this step the user will define where in the
world they will offer their product, this is normally where they live. This will ask
for country, state, city, etc.
5. Availability. This is to describe when the item will be available.
6. How can you be contacted? Information about the user like email, phone, etc.
7. Review and publish
Once the item was created, the owner will be taken to their dashboard where they will be able to see their entered items and edit, delete or update.
3. Sign in/Social sign in
This is the normal sign in process in order to get into the site. Once a use has been authorized he will be taken to the dashboard that was defined above.
The website should be functional across all type of common devices and be responsive. (desktop, tablet, cellphone). Eventually we’d like to make an app of the website.
Ideally the person doing this job will do it with supervision from a Sr. Software Engineer but you will have the autonomy to create your own stories after discussing with us if you are stuck.
Ideally we’d like someone in MX or South America (off shore) to work on this project due to time zones.
We’d like to interview candidates , get recommendations and then start working immediately.
